Patient Assistance & Access Services
The Patient Assistance and Access Services is compromised of a team of staff that provide the following services at MVHC:
- Process and track all patient referrals
- Provide medication assistance for patients without insurance coverage
- Enroll patients and community members into the Marketplace or Medicaid
- Obtain prior authorization for diagnostic testing and medications with third party payors
This team of highly specialized staff collaborate closely with the clinical team to ensure that the necessary resources are obtained to ensure the delivery of comprehensive, high quality care.
Area residents looking for help obtaining health insurance can find it at MVHC. We have certified application specialists on hand to provide free, in-person insurance enrollment assistance through the healthcare marketplace. Our specialists will help determine the level of coverage that best meets you needs and will help identify if you qualify for assistance.
